ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dani is a creative and an innovative makeup artist, who is a firm believer that makeup is not a one size fits all thing. She strives to ensure every client receives a totally unique look and experience.Dani is a true artist at heart, whether it be painting a face, a canvas, nails or a wall, she finds herself at her best when she is creating. With a keen eye for detail she accepts nothing but perfection within her work and puts her own creative spin on everything in life.
Beauty background
Dani has gained an exceptional diploma in theatrical and media makeup artistry & production arts in 2011. Alongside her qualification in makeup artistry, she uses her beauty knowledge and training, which she gained in 2009 when she completed her qualification in beauty therapy. This allows her to understand and advise how best to prepare, look after and treat the clients skin and recommend beneficial treatments to help you achieve the best results ready for your makeup. Dani has had extensive experience working in a high paced bridal salon, working on 100s of faces, covering all skin types, ethnicities and maturities. She prides herself in the efforts she takes to keep learning and educate herself in new techniques, products, trends and perfecting old ones. Not only has she had the pleasure of being a part of so many of brides ' special days but Dani has also worked on bridal shoots, covering styles from modern and timeless to boho and alternative.
Favourite product
My favourite product is not necessarily a product but more so tools. There are 2 tools I believe are so incredibly underestimated.Those are cotton buds and tissues. Not quite as glamorous as a high end highlighter but as a perfectionist these tools help me to perfect my artistry. Cotton buds can be used to perfect and define every aspect of the look, removing excess makeup to prevent it settling in fine lines and catching tears when a bride sees her dad in his suit.Tissues have become a game changer in my technique to help ensure long lasting makeup.
