Jay brings over 20 years of experience in the hair and makeup industry and is a popular and highly valued artist within the Bridal By team.
With a love of modern, polished bridal beauty, Jay works closely with each bride to create a look that feels completely personal, enhancing your features and making sure you still feel like you, just at your absolute best.
Known for her calm, friendly and professional approach, Jay understands how important the atmosphere of a wedding morning is. From your first preview through to the final touches on the day, she’ll make the experience feel relaxed, enjoyable and beautifully calm.

With over 20 years experience as a professional hair and makeup artist, Jay brings an extensive creative and technical background to her bridal work.
Growing up with a photographer father, Jay was immersed in the world of professional photography from an early age before going on to train in hair and makeup at the prestigious London College of Fashion. She began her career working across fashion, beauty and commercial photography, building an impressive portfolio that included television, national newspapers, fashion editorials, catwalk shows, advertising campaigns, e-commerce, major events and well-known brands, as well as working with dancers and performers.
After many years within the commercial and fashion industry, Jay moved exclusively into bridal hair and makeup. Today, she combines 23 years of professional artistry with everything she has learnt throughout her career to create modern, beautifully considered bridal looks that photograph flawlessly while still feeling completely like you.

"I genuinely love what I do. There is something so special about being part of a wedding morning and sharing in all the excitement, nerves, laughter and emotion that comes with it.
I love working with real women - brides, bridesmaids, mums and everyone in between and helping them feel confident and beautiful without ever feeling like someone else. For me, it’s about enhancing what is already there, creating a look that feels completely individual to you and seeing that little boost of confidence when you look in the mirror.
It’s such a privilege to be invited into one of the biggest days of someone’s life. From getting to know my brides at their preview to being there on the wedding morning and seeing everything finally come together, I never take for granted that I get to be a small part of that journey. After all these years, that excitement still hasn’t gone away — and I don’t think it ever will."
