Beauty background
Jayne started her career in cosmetic retail and quickly progressed when Ruby & Millie launched their brand in 1998. Jayne trained with Ruby Hammer in London and the love of creating that ‘polished’ look started. Jayne jumped at the chance to be involved with the launch of Sephora UK. As skincare specialist Jayne worked in london as an expert in brands including Chanel, Shiseido, Christian Dior, and Decleor. Jayne was an Assistant Manager at Space NK Birmingham and became inspired by unique and luxury brands. When Selfridges opened in the city and Giorgio Armani Cosmetics opened their 3rd counter in the UK Jayne was chosen to lead the team. Education was a fundamental part of making the brand a success, training face designers and clients alike. The brand was perfect for brides looking for professional flawless results. Jayne has worked with international make up artist’s Emma Kotch, Frederic Letallieur and Cesar Santos. Jayne has done make up for celebrity clients including Ali Hewson and Helena Christensen. and Jayne's hair experience comes from her role with the Luxury Products division at L’Oreal. Jayne educated many celebrity hairdressers including Chris Appleton and Paul Edmonds.

Having fair lashes means mascara is an absolute must for me…I can’t leave the house without it! With so many on the market it’s hard to choose just one! I favour a rubber thin brush with buildable technology. “Smiling with your eyes” is a must on your wedding day, so I aim to make them sparkle with some added lash flair!

Making people feel amazing for their special occasion is such a special moment. Being able to make someone feel more beautiful, more confident, or more empowered never gets lost on me. That magic moment when they look in the mirror and see themselves never gets old.
