ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nicky has a warm and welcoming nature, with a calming balanced energy that makes everyone feel at ease. With over 29 year's experience in the beauty industry from skincare to makeup artistry to holistic therapies. Nicky not only uses her extensive creative flare for makeup application but leaves her brides looking and feeling a million dollars.
Beauty background
Nicky qualified in beauty therapy NVQ level 2&3 29 years ago, working for Clarins across the UK promoting salons, health farms and spas. Then developing in world of makeup with Trish Mcevoy as senior artist, Bare minerals, Dior senior makeup artist, and Giorgio Armani as senior face designer and Business manager.
Nicky has extensive experience working backstage on the Giorgio Armani runway, in both Milan and london fashion weeks.
After being chosen by Linda Cantello to be part of the face designer backstage team, working with some of the leading makeup artists in the industry.
Nicky’s knowledge for red carpet events is superb with working at the Venice film festival in 2019 and 2022 and Berlin film festival in 2023 in a fast pace environment, creating high profile looks for the red carpet and photo shoots creating elegant looks for Victoria Magarth, Amy Jackson, beauty editors and CEO' for harrods beauty and harper's bazaar, European actors, actresses, film producers and directors.
Nicky also delivers group masterclass events and education for local colleges to inspire the next generation of MUA’s.
During the years of working in the makeup industry she also extended her holistic qualifications with reiki level 1, meditation instruction and Crystal healing.
