ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sammy is at her happiest when she's creating beautiful things. She is fiercely loyal, incredibly caring and would literally do anything she possibly could to help anybody. She is loved and cherished by Ruth and all her Bridal By colleagues. Sammy is also a talented digital designer & accomplished painter. Sammy has super sensitive skin and is passionate about road testing our new products to check their suitably and their performance first hand.
Beauty background
Based in Worcestershire, Sammy is a certified hair and makeup artist, specialising in occasion, beauty & bridal. She studied hairdressing and beauty therapy for 2 years, gaining qualifications in cutting, colouring and styling hair, as well as gaining integral knowledge of skin and bone structure. After working in a salon for 2 years, she decided to further her education and experience by studying make up & hair .This is where she met Ruth over 10 years ago , who has mentored her ever since. With over 10 years salon & freelance experience behind her, she has worked on music videos, theatre sets, creative shoots & events. Since achieving a degree in Media Makeup and a Level 2 hair & beauty qualification, Sammy has continued to learn and add to her skill set. She has additionally trained in lash extensions and has become a Reiki Practitioner & Indian head massager. She is a calming energy and has many years in salon and on set experience, which means a versatile artist for both fashion & bridal bookings and Ruth’s star support. A highly experienced pro team artist at By Ruth, she has been trained to create our signature makeup soft glam style and beautiful occasion hair to perfection . Sammy is fully qualified, accredited ,insured and prefers luxury professional sensitive products to create her amazing styles.
