Beauty background
Alex has been in the makeup industry since 2008, starting her profession by working for Benefit Cosmetics at their flagship concession at Liverpool Street station London. However, it wasn't until 2013 when Alex gained a position at MAC Cosmetics in Nottingham that she felt her career started to truly take off.
Being one of the busiest shops in the city at the time, Alex was able to practise her craft to her full extent, working all genders, all races and all ages. Not only did this build Alex's confidence and experience, but also put her ahead in the industry for knowing how to tailor individual looks for the client. This enabled her to build her reputation in Nottingham and surrounding areas.
After five years working for MAC, Alex decided to take the plunge and become a self-employed freelance artist specialising in bridal and occasion makeup. after being apart of 100's of weddings, Alex is confident in delivering a bespoke look for every bride.
Favourite product
This is SUCH a hard question! However, if I had to choose I would have to say I absolutely love the Bodyography pressed glitters, I have so many of them now in professional kit as they are such an amazing addition to any makeup look as they really do add a POP to any eye look. I find that they're best applied with your finger rather than a brush and can simply be applied using a light pressure.
