My experience of Bridalby has been really positive from start to finish; Helen was amazing and so kind at explaining everything to me at the beginning about how the process works. Jay was equally amazing during mine and my Mum's make-up trials - chatting to us like we were already good mates, taking the time to make sure we were happy with the different make-up options we could choose from, and putting us at ease about any new make-up bits we hadn't tried before (e.g. false eye lashes).
To Jay and Claudia - you were absolutely fantastic on my wedding day, and I couldn't have wished for better make-up artists. You arrived on time, had all the gear prepared, and came across really professional whilst also having great fun and laughs with us on the morning whilst getting ready. You made myself, all of the girls and my Mum look and feel beautiful, everyone was completely at ease, and your company made the morning feel really special. I can't thank you enough for being a part of my wedding day and making us all look absolutely stunning.

Ruth changed our date at short notice during COVID19 and was an absolute god send during the stressful time.
On the day you couldn't asked for it to run smoother. They were part of the day and the morning I had before my wedding are memories she helped create and ill treasure for the rest of my life. Laughing and creating bonds with everyone made it feel normal.

Make-up was so important to me on my big day and Ruth did not disappoint. Ruth made it easy to book her services and is so friendly and approachable. She spent time with me during my trial to make sure that I was happy with my look and really listened to my thoughts for myself and my bridal party. On the day, Ruth was amazing. She had fun with us all getting ready and the attention to detail in everyone's make-up was stunning. All of our guests commented on how beautiful we all looked. The bridal party all had different wants and needs and these were all listened to and everyone had a make-up suited to them personally. We got married on the hottest day on record and our make-up didn't budge! It looked just as perfect at midnight. Thank you so much Ruth for making us all look and feel a million dollars. Professional, friendly, hard-working, perfectionist these are just a few of the words that describe Ruth and her team the email exchange between myself and ruth was so thoughtful professional and organised that it helped me to really think about what I wanted to look like on my wedding day and it help me get to know Ruth and how she works.From the moment we met Ruth we were made to feel at home. She is so down to worth and really made us feel welcome from the get go. Her Studio is beautiful and the perfect place to have a first trial it was peaceful and a great space to relax and let Ruth work her magic. As an unconfident right bride Ruth really listened to what I wanted and took on board any concerns or worries that I had and help to dispel them quickly with sensitivity.
She kept us laughing from the moment we walked in the door which helped keep me calm. Then Ruth worked her magic she talked me through every part of the trial and advise me throughout about the look she was creating her attention to detail was immaculate and she had thought about the entire look from the moment we were in contact. She asked for photos of the dresses and the bridal party attire is having up for the bridal party and did some mood boards and drawings to show us what she was thinking of and what colours would work well for the entire Bride tribe. Ruth’s transformed me in a matter of hours but it felt like minutes she kept us talking throughout and we really felt comfortable.
I felt like a princess and looked like one too! on the day of the wedding Ruth and Lian were incredible they work so hard in the entire Bride tribe looked flawless.everyone commented about how amazing we all looked even my sister who doesn’t really wear make up was extremely impressed and wanted Ruth to do her make up every day. I cannot recommend Ruth and her team enough they were so kind and thoughtful and ever so funny they make my day perfect and I cannot thank them enough for making us all look and feel amazing. Ruth and Lian even wrote us a card wishing us congratulations on our big day which was a lovely surprise when we came so open I called the following day.

Ruth did my make up and 5 bridesmaids hair for my wedding. She was amazing through out the whole process. The communication before meeting was fab. All of the packages that could suite my needs were presented to me and I was able to make an informed decision on what worked best for me. My trial was perfect in Ruth’s professional studio and we got to try different looks to ensure I looked amazing on my wedding day !On the day Ruth and another team member were set up and ready to go as soon as we arrived and were so efficient in getting everyone ready on time. The morning was relaxed and stress free, just what you need on your wedding morning ! All of my bridesmaids commented on how lovely Ruth was and I loved the end result of my hair and makeup, perfect ! Thank you !

After previously working in the modelling industry, I had already had the pleasure of experiencing Ruth’s makeup skills, so it was a no brainer to have her on my wedding day. Her attention to detail is second to none and she really does make you feel like a million dollars! I wanted boho style makeup and hair and nothing too typically ‘bridey’, she did everything I wanted and more! It was relaxing and fun and I wish I could do it all over again!’

I was looking for someone to do mine and my bridesmaids’ wedding hair and make-up and remembered a friend had looked lovely on her wedding day so asked who she had used. She gave me Ruth’s details and I booked in for a trial. - I had a brilliant afternoon in Ruth’s lovely studio and could not believe the transformation. - I booked her straight away!! Sadly, I had to remove all my make-up and take down my hairstyle on the way home so my husband to be wouldn’t see it! :-(Fast forward to the wedding day and Ruth and Sammy turned up on time and joined the pre wedding party!! Ruth recreated my trial look perfectly and my bridesmaids were delighted with their results too, despite having not had a trial and never having met Ruth before!
My nine year old bridesmaid also loved the experience (she had her hair done and some ‘age appropriate’ make-up) and said she felt like a princess!!
I would totally recommend Ruth and her team - very reasonably priced considering the amazing quality of her work and they were a welcome addition to the wedding preparations. - Great fun and nothing was too much trouble - even an over talking bride (possibly nerves?!?) who kept chatting and blinking whilst I was supposed to stay still!!

Ruth was one of the recommended make up artists from the venue where we got married. I followed Ruth for a long time on Instagram, getting an idea for what she could create and how that would work with my ideas for my wedding day. When I did approach Ruth, she was extremely professional and honest- which are two attributes that you want in someone so important - after all, your pictures will capture your face and hair for all of eternity!I went for my trial and was immediately sold. I cannot recommend Ruth enough for beautiful and flawless makeup. She did me and my 3 bridesmaids for a winter wedding in January. Despite waking up with dull, hormonal skin and tired eyes after a sleepless night, Ruth managed to make me feel so confident and beautiful. Ruth did my moms hair and make up for her wedding and after seeing her flawless work I just had to have her for our wedding! Ruth is a true professional at what she does. She made me look and feel a million dollars! I wish I could look and feel like that all the time!
